Come celebrate mushrooms with us at Zumwalt Acres on October 29th from 10am to 2:30pm! In the morning, you'll learn about how we grow oyster mushrooms here, and how you can grow them at home. We'll break for lunch catered by our friends at Sugar Creek Trading Company. In the afternoon, we'll learn about a local mushroom called turkey tail and make a tincture. We'll also have mushroom art making. Pre-made tinctures will be available for you to try and take home. If you'd like to stick around, we'll have an optional walk and forage in the woods around 2:30.
