Let Our House Be Opened Wide: Sukkot Festival Weekend
Join us to celebrate Sukkot and other harvest holidays and traditions fitting for this season! We will come together to cherish the harvests of this land, as well as tend to the heart-break and heart-opening we feel as we witness and experience incredible violence, loss, and resistance. We will be calling in the ancestral traditions needed to meet this moment so that together we may do the spiritual and material work of resisting empire and building a culture and network of mutual care.

Mushroom Field Day
Come celebrate mushrooms with us at Zumwalt Acres on October 29th from 10am to 2:30pm! In the morning, you'll learn about how we grow oyster mushrooms here, and how you can grow them at home. We'll break for lunch catered by our friends at Sugar Creek Trading Company. In the afternoon, we'll learn about a local mushroom called turkey tail and make a tincture. We'll also have mushroom art making. Pre-made tinctures will be available for you to try and take home. If you'd like to stick around, we'll have an optional walk and forage in the woods around 2:30. Please register on this form if you plan to join us!
